It can also enhance the signal when driving through crowded urban environments with large skylines or in rural areas with significant canyons and tree cover. By connecting the antenna, GPS operators will reduce the likelihood of interrupted service in the midst of a trip, making the drive safer and more convenient. The MNA 2300-EXT antenna plugs into your GPS's external antenna jack and comes with a 6-foot telephone-style cable. If the cable proves too short, operators can extend it using a standard telephone cable extension cord.
